Block Swap

Join our block swap group and receive instructions and background fabric to make a signature block.  Come back on swap day and trade with each person in our swap group.  We are using lovely batik fabrics so the blocks will play nicely with each other.  There is a place on the block to sign your name so you will be able to remember who made the blocks in your quilt.  Great for beginners and fun for the more advanced.

Charity Quilt

We’ll provide the materials to make a quilt for a child in the hospital.  Bring your machine and donate your time and care to help put the kits together.  We will all have fun together as we create a happy quilt to comfort a sick child.

Bernina Club

We would like to invite everyone (not just Bernina Machine owners) to join us each month for Bernina Club.  Beginning February 27 at 10:30.  Our experienced staff, and sometimes visitors, will share sewing and embroidering ideas as well as have models to see.  Our first meeting will show machine smocking.  This is smocking in the hoop on the embroidery machine.  Remarkably similar to hand smocking but super fast.  You really have to see this to believe it!!  Refreshments will be served.
